Bloggus Interruptus...

New Toy I know, I know ... it's been two whole days since I've posted anything, but I got one heckuva excuse: 42 inches of Sony High Def hypnosis, an early Christmas gift to replace the big-tube RCA that died couch-side a few weeks ago. Throw in a cable upgrade and free month of DVR, and you got three reasons this humble blog has been so quiet for the past forty-eight hours. But fear not lone reader, for I'm about to take my coffee-addled carcass upstairs to get cracking on Act 2 of 'Danny and the DUI'. But first, I have to run the new set through a diagnostics test that should tax every facet of its many features. That's right, we're watching 'The Blues Brothers'.

That could be the best Christmas present ever.. Or one may argue that distinction belongs to a Red Rider BB Gun.

I got TV envy and I got it real bad!!!!! It's like in high school when the cool kid get's a new CD Player, Amp, and Subs, in his ride and pops in the latest music....It's at that point that you KNOW you'll do whatever it takes to get it too.

Anybody want to buy a motorcycle?

;)

I've got a copy of War of the Worlds for sale that might go good with your new TeeVee. Other than that I can only offer Apollo 13 for a nice viewing on the HD monitor. Congrats, watch out for those letter box bars in standard def.. streach!!

And of course since DVDs are in Standard Def, analog actually, I can't wait until the first HD-DVD hits the shelf.(I may have an HD set by then!)

Congratulations on standing up to your wife. I knew you'd win this round. This was too important.
